Chocolate, Date and Sweet Dukkah Easter Eggs by @emsswanston
Your hunt for the perfect Easter Egg recipe ends here. Prepare for this chocolate coated season with @emmswasntson’s homemade Chocolate, Date and Sweet Dukkah Easter Eggs
1/4 C natural almond butter
1 Tbsp roasted almonds, roughly chopped
1 Tbsp Table of Plenty almond & cinnamon sweet dukkah sprinkle + extra for sprinkling
1 Tbsp coconut flour
For the Chocolate Coating ;
1 Block of dark chocolate
1 tsp coconut oil
1 – Place filling ingredients into a small bowl & stir to combine then place in the fridge/set aside while you pit your dates
2 – Pit dates – place on to a lined baking sheet (or plate)
3 – Spoon 1 tsp of nougat filling into each date, gently pinch to re-close & place back on to your baking sheet/plate then place into the freezer while you prepare your chocolate.
4 – Melt chocolate & coconut oil by your preferred method
5 – Use 2 forks to coat each date in melted chocolate then place back on the baking sheet
6 – Sprinkle with extra dukkah & a pinch of flaky sea salt
7 – Chill
8 – Devour!
